PTO

Bald Creek Elementary School both invites and encourages the involvement from parents and community members. We feel that the dedication and support of caring adults from outside our school enhances and strengthens our instructional focus. We recognize that both the self-esteem and academic performance of our students is heightened by personalized attention.

Parent involvement takes place through volunteering in the classrooms, office, and cafeteria, chaperoning field trips, substitute teaching, tutoring, and athletic programs.

Bald Creek has an active PTO program. We also have one part-time retired teacher who tutors four mornings per week. In addition to this, we have four more part-time tutors. Our tutors work one-on-one with students to ensure they are meeting the instructional focus each day.

Bald Creek Elementary and its PTO are excited about our new project to transform our recreational facilities into an area that will be much more deserving to both our students and our community, a place in which we can be proud, feel safe and enjoy.

We have been working hard, but this is a major undertaking and we truly need your asssistance.

This project will cost at least $50,000. Currently, we are seeking various grants to help offset the costs.

We are also planning a Bald Creek Yard Sale to be held in our gym on May 3rd. Your donations can be brought in now! The more we have to offer, the closer we we come to reaching our goal.

This project will be completed in phases-- you may have noticed that our gym has a new red metal roof. New paint for the doors and trim will be coming as well.

New playground equipment as well as a layer of safe rubber mulch and park benches will be added.

We are hoping to complete this as soon as possible, but we realize that we cannot reach our goals without your help. Some may wish to make a monetary donation. Some may wish to choose a certain piece of equipment to sponsor. We will be delighted to accept your charitable offers.
