This school year your child will make amazing progress developing his or her reading skills.  It is a wonderful time to nurture this progress with books that challenge, stimulate, and inspire!

One way to encourage your child’s reading progress is to provide him or her with the opportunity to read great books at home. Scholastic Book Club offers a wonderful selection of fiction, nonfiction, and chapter books for every level of reader. 

Several times during the year I will send home with your child ordering forms from Scholastic.  I feel that Scholastic offers very reasonable prices for their books, and there are no taxes to pay.  Please remember, participation in this ordering is purely optional. 

If you and your child choose to participate, please have your child return the filled out order form by the specified date.  Also, have a check made out to “Scholastic Book Club” enclosed with the order.
