Accelerated Reader
Our
Accelerated Reader Program is a computerized program that tests
students’ reading comprehension. Our library has
more than
6,700 hundred books that are Accelerated Readers. The student
chooses a book on any subject and when he or she completes reading it
they can go to a school computer and take a test on the book.

We
also have a Literacy Skills Program which tests students on a wide
variety of literacy skills. These books are assigned by the
classroom teacher.
Our Star Reading Program tests the students to determine each individual student’s reading level. We usually test students two to three times a years to assess their reading growth.
