Media Center News -9 Month of September Hurricane Learning Center During the month of September, students in grades 3-5 will have access to "Hurricane Central" in the media center.  Through books and online resources, students can learn about tracking weather, what makes a hurricane, hurricane hunters, and hurricane diaster kits. The Book Fair October 9-13 Visit the 2006 Book Fair at the Burnsville Elementary School Media Center on Friday, October 12th -Thursday, October 18th from 8:00am-3:00pm.  This year's theme for our annual event will be Reading Rain Forest - Wild For Books.  Visit the Rain Forest (Media Center) for a wild adventure in books.   Month of November Celebrate Books National Library Week November 13-17, 2006 Students will creatively show their favorite book titles through art or written book reports to be displayed in the hall for others to enjoy. Students may use any art form or book report form to illustrate and show one of their favorite books or even author of books. The Polar Express Returns In December School wide viewing of the Polar Express will be seen on School TV , Friday, December 8th.
