Snow Days, Early
Dismissals, and Snow Delays
The
center will be closed if
the Yancey County Schools are closed due to bad weather. You can call 682-7322 or
682-1322. If school
closes early because of snow, your
child needs to be picked up as soon as possible.
We do not want to endanger the lives of the
children or our staff by driving in treacherous conditions. On days when Yancey County
Schools have a
snow delay schedule the center will also open on a delayed schedule. If it is a one-hour delay,
the center will open
at 8:30am. If it is
a two-hour delay,
the center will open at 9:30am.
