Due to the re-freezing of snow and ice on our secondary roads, Yancey County Schools will have a Remote Learning Day on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
Our principals and teachers will work with students and families if their WiFi is not in service at home.
Students - please check your school email, Google Classroom accounts or ClassDoJo for any additional information your teacher may provide. Middle and high school assignments may also be sent out electronically. Students please log on with your teachers at 11:00 a.m.
Please drive safely if you are out and about this week.
