I am excited to be part of this board because I believe it is an opportunity to give back to a school system that has given so much to ensure the success of all the student body. I believe this can be attributed to children, parents, teachers, administrators, and board having one common goal - the success of the youth of Yancey County. I thank you for the opportunity you have given me to serve on the board and I covet your prayers and support. The success of this board depends on all participating and being involved in a school system that desires to excel above all obstacles to the betterment of our community. Together we will make a difference.
