Good evening!

This is Yancey County Schools with an important message about the schedule for tomorrow.

Have a good evening and drive safely in the morning.

We are thankful for the brave men and women who have served our country!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Yancey County Schools family is deeply heartbroken by the tragic loss experienced by one of our staff members whose husband and grandson—also one of our students—passed away in a recent accident.

Our top priority is providing care and support to our students, staff, and the family during this incredibly difficult time. Additional counseling and emotional support services are available to both students and employees.

We extend our deepest prayers and condolences to her as she mourns the loss of her husband and her beloved grandson.
